Rockets vs. Wolves End result: Edwards ’37 points not enough

The Minnesota Timberwolves come out of the All-Star break with a definable air of rust, led to a double-digit lead to Houston Rockets. Despite this, the wolves still managed to lead as far as late into the fourth quarter before terrible decision making and bad shots (if this was a drinking game you would be hammered) lost them another game in a western conference that is too close On burying yourself in.

However, it is good to be taken with the bad as Anthony Edwards were fantastic in the second and third quarter, and the defense had moments of genius, even without Rudy Gobert.

Had Wolves not loafed throughout the first quarter, they could have won this. Had they even been a little better in the fourth than their 15-20 coupling record record proves that they are, they could be better than seventh in the West. Had they made a step on the deadline, there would be a conversation about incorporating a new piece.

Unfortunately, however, this is not the world we live in. And although there is something to say about the absence of Rudy Gberert, Julius Randle and Dittincenzo, we have to stop looking at it as the main factor for bad losses.

Let’s get into it.

Discrepations are always veltes present

Earlier in the season, Wolves fell by dropping light games, but then played hard against tougher competition. They still lost the first, but fought back in time for a fourth quarter comeback that had different levels of success.

All in all, the wolves have been the embodiment of “we are so back, it is so past” meme. While wolves from last year never lost three straight matches, this year’s iteration seems to never win or lose without a line to follow or go ahead.

As the season rolls on, it becomes harder to blame this by the firing variance or even ANT’s youth, which undoubtedly plays a role in his regular slow starts. Instead, it may be time to start looking at Chris Finch.

Finch, who got a technical tonight, is probably the best coach in the franchise story and has definitely led to the longest period successfully for any coaching period, but seems to fight to bring any level of consistency from the team he leads. Instead, it seems to take an angry cross of the arms or a few timeouts to make a real effort flow.

Disappointments and triumphs

Rockets came in tonight on an engraving 3-7 in their last 10 games. This record underestimates a team that has been the seed of the points this season and ignores that they had the whole break to relax and recover, but it does not investigate how bad the rockets had played recently.

Instead of beating this game, Minnesota was prepared on the boards and defensively, only managed to keep up with the moments when this game leans against a shoot-out.

In addition, Mike Conley is due to a better word cooked. His functionality in court has been hammered by his inability to move downhill, and in evenings when his shot does not fall, he becomes a direct responsibility. Unfortunately, that care gets even worse when GOOBERT is out.

It’s the undamaged bad. It was a bad view from most of the team. That has been made clear.

However, Luka Garza gave good minutes on the five tonight and remains at least a large level with the absence of Rudy Gobert. Jaylen Clark is an excellent bench and has delivered an insurance policy if the free agent is Nickeil Alexander-Walker is on the way out this summer.

A few quick notes

  • Naz Reid should remain the starter in the future. His 22 points tonight came in Bursts, but his game continues to encourage hope in the core of three of himself, Ant and Jaden McDaniels.
  • When he talks about “seat belt”, the deep shooting remains a missing aspect, but even through great minutes (41 minutes), Jaen continued to attack the edge, which has been a huge part of his breakout.
  • There will always be a time and a place to blame refs. Alperun Sengun gets a terribly friendly whistle, but the wolves lost this game without it being a decisive factor.
