There is a spare day for the final if the match cannot be completed on Sunday, as there were for both semi -finals, even if they were not required.

The reserve day of the final is Monday, March 10 (09:00)).

There is a maximum of two hours extra time available on both the original day and the day of spare.

The International Cricket Council says “any effort will be made” to end the match on the planned day, including reduction of overs to the required minimum.

If the game starts on the scheduled day, but a spare day is then required, play will resume from which it stopped, rather than a new match start.

Whether it is a 50-over or reduced over-match depends on whether play resumes in a reduced over-format on the original day.

The trophy is divided if the final is washed out on both the original and the day of spare.
